Description

This is a 3-stone sterling silver cuff bracelet with solid 18k gold setting and decorative items fused to the cuff. It has hammered surface and black oxidized finish which highlights the 18k gold setting and details. It features a beautiful piece of Inspiration Mine gem silica framed by two pear-shaped Carico Lake turquoise cabochons. This is terminated by dimensional gold stars on either side.

Inspiration Mine gem silica comes from a copper mine in Arizona that has been mined out for years. This piece is mostly clear medium-to-dark blue material with a couple of green malachite sprays. This material is no longer commercially available and this piece was cut from stone that came out of a private collection. Carico Lake is a rare turquoise mined in Nevada that comes in a variety of colors including shades of green that are unique to this particular mine. These two pieces have the highly sought after apple green color with some of the lighter brown matrix or host rock in which the turquoise formed.

The bracelet includes high-domed cabochons so the stones are exposed well above the bezel for a rich look and feel. This gemstones is completely natural (not stabilized or dyed).

The outside of the cuff has an oxidized (black) finish and the inside is polished silver. The bracelet is approx. 1 1/16″ wide and more than 2mm thick (see photo with older U.S. dime for size/scale). It is a medium weight piece that would be easy for most women to wear. Total weight of this item is a little over 86 grams.

Size and Other Considerations: This is a 7″ cuff including a 1 3/8″ gap or opening (7″ overall). For most women this would be considered a Medium-Large size. Buyers should see Sizing for information on how to measure your wrist for cuff bracelets such as this.

Care of This Piece: The outside of the cuff has an oxidized finish on it. Care should be taken when cleaning it not to use chemicals including polishing cloths that are impregnated with chemical cleaner as it will remove this oxidized finish.

SHIPPING

Ancient Roads Jewelry sells to/ships to only to addresses within the United States. We cannot accept payment by credit card from outside the United States. We ship by expedited and insured service for a flat rate of $22.00. Shipments usually take 3-4 business days. If you want overnight or 2-day shipping service please contact us for options and cost. We can only ship to the billing address listed with your credit card issuer. All shipments require a signature for delivery.

If you are not happy with an item, we will refund the standard flat rate shipping charges ($22.00) to you if the item is returned in undamaged and unaltered condition with its original gift box or bag (see Return Policy below).

PAYMENT

We accept Visa or Mastercard and use a PayPal “payment gateway” to process payments. You can absolutely pay with a credit card using this payment gateway if you don’t have a PayPal account. Only U.S based credit cards are accepted with both a billing address and a shipping address located in the United States. In addition, you may also make a purchase with PayPal which allows you to debit your bank account or utilize a credit card without having to go through the trouble of entering your shipping/billing information on the payment gateway. We do not store any credit card information from purchasers as this is all facilitated by PayPal.

To pay using a credit card:

1) With the items you would like to purchase in your shopping cart proceed to Checkout page, 2) Review your purchases, 3) Select payment method – (default is to PayPal – leave this selection) 4) click the blue button that says “Proceed to PayPal” (this takes you to the payment gateway). When you click this button it will take you to a screen that allows you to log in to PayPal but if you scroll down on the page there is a gray button that says “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”. 5) Click the Pay with Debit or Credit Card button and enter your credit card information and shipping address on this form. If you need more help with this please email me and I can send you screen shots showing you what to look for.

SALES TAX

Sales tax will be collected on all orders shipped within the state of Colorado.

SPECIAL/CUSTOM ORDERS

If you see an item that you want made in a specific size I do take special and/or custom orders. Please contact me either by email or phone to discuss any requests you might have for custom items. Please be aware that we will need a deposit of 50% of the agreed price of the item before work can commence. For some items I may only be able to give you a range for the final price of the item because it may be difficult to estimate the amount of gold that will be required to produce the piece. Finally, special and custom orders typically take between 2-3 months to be made.

RETURN POLICY

If you are not happy with your purchase or have a problem with the fit of an item please contact me to arrange for a return/exchange as soon as possible (or within 10 days). Items must be in original unaltered, undamaged and unused condition to be considered for a full refund/exchange.

Return shipping costs will be paid by purchaser and we recommend that you return ship using an express package carrier or registered and insured mail. Ancient Roads Jewelry cannot be responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

WARRANTY

Ancient-Roads Jewelry warranties its product against defect for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. Defects are defined as a problem or fault with the materials used to make an item or the original construction/fabrication of an item. Please contact me if you have a problem or an issue with any item purchased from Ancient-Roads Jewelry. We will attempt to repair any item determined to be defective within a reasonable amount of time but if an item cannot be repaired a refund will be given.

If an item is damaged or needs repair outside of the warranty period please contact me as we may be able to have it repaired at nominal cost and will be happy to do so.
