Description
This is a beautiful gem silica pendant with sterling silver base and 18k gold setting. The gem silica comes from a mine in Mexico that closed long ago but produced beautiful material such as this.
I have found no other material with this color or look. It has a medium ocean blue background with pistachio nut green sprays in the middle and towards the top – truly a one-of-a-kind piece. The brown spot in the lower center is matrix stone or host rock. Without the host rock, which contains copper and other elements, the silica would be colorless.
This is a larger pendant approximately 1 5/16” wide and 1 1/4” tall (without the bale).
Chain and coin shown in photos not included with item. To see available chains please see “Chains” on Shop tab or contact ARJ for availability of sterling silver chains.
