Description
This is a sterling silver cuff bracelet with solid 18k gold setting and decorative items fused to the cuff. It is a contemporary style bracelet but I’ve incorporated the crossed cannons symbol from the height of the Spanish Empire. This symbol adorned many items but is probably most known for its incorporation into the royal crest which was stamped on coinage from this period.
The gemstone is an absolutely beautiful piece of top-grade gem silica that was mined in Mexico many years ago. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this material with that soft blue color and a few light green “sprays” which seem to float like clouds inside the stone and make it unique.
At over 41 cts it is a large gemstone and it is cut in a high-domed cabochon so the stone is exposed well above the bezel for a rich look and feel. It is truly a one-of-a-kind piece.
The bracelet is approx. 1 1/4″ wide at the front (measured top to bottom) but tapers slightly towards the gap and is approx. 2 mm thick. It is a medium-to-heavy weight piece but would be easy for any woman to wear. Total weight of this item is just over 93 grams including nearly 6 grams of 18k gold and 79 grams of sterling silver.

Size and Other Considerations: This is a 6 1/2 ” cuff including a 1 1/4″ gap or opening (6 1/2″ overall). For most women this would be considered a medium size. Buyers should see Sizing for information on how to measure your wrist for cuff bracelets such as this.
