Description
This is a 3-stone heavy sterling silver cuff bracelet with solid 18k gold settings and decorative items fused to the cuff. The center stone is natural Carico Lake turquoise. Carico is a rare turquoise mined in Nevada that comes in a variety of colors including shades of green that are found no where else in the world. This is a really nice piece of apple green with chocolate brown matrix which is one of the hallmarks of great American turquoise. It also has what is known as “water webbing” which is the color pattern that looks like variations of lighter and darker tones. This is some of the best of the green turquoise coming out of this mine and it is cut in a super high-dome cabochon.
The triangular accent stones are chrysoprase from the Marlborough mine in Australia known for producing some of the best chrysoprase in the world. These gemstones are perfectly matched clean material cut in high profile flat-top rounded triangles.
The outside of the cuff has an oxidized (black) finish and the inside is polished silver. The bracelet is approx. 1 3/8″ wide and more than 2mm thick. It is a substantial piece with a heavy, rich feel weighing more than 98 grams including nearly 15 grams of 18k gold.
