Description
This is a beautiful 3-stone 18k solid gold ring. The design is an interpretation of Balinese work with detailed granulation and double rows of twisted wire.
The center stone is a ruby from the Winza mine in Tanzania and is completely natural (un-heated). It has nice red color with a hint of pink in it and is bright even in subdued light. It is clear and glassy with one or two minor veils (imperfections) beneath the surface and a small spot of blue on one corner (bi-color attribute) that is common with stones from this mine. The accent stones are high-domed pillowy cabochons of violet colored purple chalcedony from Kenya.
The ring at its widest point is a little over 9/16” wide (at the front – top to bottom) and the band tapers to approx. 1/4” at the back. This is considered a wide-band ring so you might consider sizing based on rings you wear that are comparable.
