Description
This is a beautiful 3-stone 18k solid gold ring. The design is based on ancient Etruscan ring designs. The Etruscans pre-dated the Romans in what is now southern Italy. I like this design because it has a lot of intricate granulation and twisted wire details. This is a medium-weight ring with just short of 8 grams of 18k gold.
The center stone is a purple chalcedony from Kenya and it is all natural (un-dyed) material. It has a medium-violet color and is very glassy and translucent.
The accent stones are pink sapphires from the Winza mine in Tanzania. They are fairly clean and matched for color.
The ring at its widest point is approx. 5/8” wide (at the front) and the band tapers to approx. 5/16” at the back. This is considered a wide-band ring so you might consider sizing based on rings you wear that are comparable.
