Description
This is a beautiful 3-stone 18k solid gold ring. The design is based on simple Etruscan or Roman work and features double rows of twisted wire above and below the gemstones.
The center stone is a high-domed cabochon of deep pink sapphire from the Winza mine in Tanzania and is completely natural (un-heated and not glass filled). It has deep pink color similar to pink grapefruit and is fairly clear and glassy. The accent stones are ovals of Mexican fire opal and compliment the color of the sapphire.
The ring at its widest point is a little over 7/16” wide (at the front – top to bottom) and the band tapers to approx. 1/4” at the back. (See photo with older U.S. dime for size/scale.)
This is considered a wide-band ring so you might consider sizing based on rings you wear that are comparable.
