Description
This is a beautiful pink sapphire and Mexican fire opal solid 18k gold pendant. The top stone is a 2.85 ct pink sapphire with deep pink grapefruit color cut in a high-dome cabochon. The bottom stone is a Mexican fire opal that is bright orange and pairs well with the pink sapphire. I cut and paired these gemstones because they evoke the colors of a sunset with the fiery orange of the sun and slowly fading pinks of the sky. Both of these gemstones are completely natural and have not been enhanced or treated in any way.
The gold work is simple yet elegant with a row of gold ball accents across the top. It is a medium-sized pendant that is approximately 7/16” wide and just under 1″ tall (without the attachment bale). See photos with older silver U.S. dime for size/scale comparison.
Chain and replica coins shown in photos not included with item. To see available chains please see “Chains” on Shop tab.
