Description
This is a beautiful 3-stone 18k solid gold ring. The design is an interpretation of Balinese work with detailed granulation and ornamentation.
The center stone is super mint green tourmaline from Afghanistan which is known for material of this color and quality. It is a bright with no visible flaws or inclusions.
The accent stones are matched golden yellow Mali garnets. This is a particular type of garnet that comes from Mali, Africa and is known for its high refractive index which gives it a lot of flash from reflected light.
Because of the light color of these stones this ring was extremely difficult to photograph. The photos taken in sunlight tend to wash out the color of the stone. I have included two photos taken under studio lights (incandescent) for comparison purposes.
The ring at its widest point is approx. 5/8” wide (at the front – top to bottom) and the band tapers to approx. 3/8” at the back. This is considered a wide-band ring so you might consider sizing based on rings you wear that are comparable.
