This is a beautiful 3-stone 18k solid gold ring. The design is an interpretation of Balinese work with detailed granulation and ornamentation.
The center stone is deep-orange Malaya garnet from Africa. It is clear and glassy with a good amount of flash in bright light. The accent stones are deep red Arizona “ant hill” garnets that are cut into high-domed gumdrops. It is called ant hill garnet because ants push the material to the surface as they build their ant hills. This material is prized because of the intensity of its red color.
The ring at its widest point is approx. 9/16” wide (at the front – top to bottom) and the band tapers to approx. ¼” at the back. This is considered a wide-band ring so you might consider sizing based on rings you wear that are comparable.
