Description
This is a gorgeous 3-stone 22k solid gold ring. The design is an interpretation of ancient Etruscan styles with highly detailed band.
The center stone is a beautiful green tourmaline which has kind of a minty green hue. At times it appears to be bi-colored (two shades of green) when viewed from different angles (see last photo). This material is from Afghanistan and is bright and glassy with no visible imperfections. The 6th or last photo in the series was taken under natural lighting and best shows the actual color of the center stone. The other photos were taken under studio lights which tend to yield strong reflections and some color distortion due to the light’s intensity.
The side stones are perfectly matched blue-green tourmaline from Afghanistan as well and are clean top-grade material. I selected these accent stones because their color really compliments the center stone. The third photo in the series probably best shows the true color of the accent stones.
The ring at its widest point is approx. 5/16” wide (at the front) and the band is just over ¼” at the back. It is a medium weight ring weighing just short of 10.0 grams.
