Description
This is a beautiful 3-stone 18k solid gold ring. The design is an interpretation of Balinese work with detailed granulation and double rows of twisted wire.
The center stone is a high-domed pillowy cabochon of gem silica from the Mexico. This material was called ‘Parrot Wing’ because of the bright blues and yellow-greens that looked like a parrot’s wing. The stone in this piece is more of the green color which is the rarest. The mine has long since closed but I have sourced small amounts of this material from old collections. The accent stones are triangles of peridot.
The ring at its widest point is approx. 9/16” wide (at the front) and the band tapers to approx. 3/16” at the back. This is considered a wide-band ring so you might consider sizing based on rings you wear that are comparable.
