Description
This is a beautiful gem silica and 18k solid gold pendant. The gemstone is a bright blue that is so characteristic of material that came out of copper mines in America.
The gem silica is from the Ray mine in Arizona and has really pleasing medium blue color. It is top-grade material and is no longer available except in small quantities from collections that come available from time to time (for more info see link below).
The gold work is simple yet elegant with a single row of tiny gold balls around the bezel. I have added a cross bar to the design that is reminiscent of an old sailing ship’s anchor. The bale has some extra detail with a row of gold balls around the circumference. It is a smaller sized pendant that is approximately 7/16” wide (not including the crossbar) and a hair over 3/4” tall (including the attachment ring). See photo with older U.S. silver dime for size and scale.
Chain shown in photos not included with item. To see available chains please see “Chains” on Shop tab.
