Description
This is a beautiful 18k solid gold ring with a top-grade piece of Carico Lake Turquoise. The design is based on classic Balinese styles with two rows of intricately placed gold balls around the setting and a highly detailed band.
Carico is a rare turquoise mined in Nevada that comes in a variety of colors including shades of green that are unique to this particular mine. This is one of the finest pieces with a classic pistachio nut green color.
It is a high-domed cabochon so the stone is exposed well above the bezel for a rich look and feel. This gemstone is completely natural (not stabilized or dyed). See link below for more details.
The ring at its widest point is a hair over 5/8” wide (at the front – measured from top to bottom) and the band is approx. 1/4” wide at the back. (See photo with older U.S. dime for size/scale.) This is a mid-weight ring with 7 1/2 grams of 18k gold.
