Description
This is a gorgeous 3-stone 22k solid gold ring. The design is an interpretation of ancient Etruscan styles with highly detailed band.
The center stone is a light-medium blue tourmaline from Afghanistan. This material is known for its color and clarity and this piece is very clean and bright with no visible imperfections. Depending upon the light in which it is viewed, this stone looks almost like an aquamarine but more towards the powder blue color value with no green in it (see last photo).
The side stones are perfectly matched amethyst from Rwanda and are clean top-grade material. They are a light-medium violet color.
This was a difficult item to photograph but I have tried to accurately capture the color of the gemstones. The seventh or last photo in the series was taken indoors with indirect light. In my opinion this best captures the colors and hues of the gemstones in this ring. The other photos were taken under studio lights.
The ring at its widest point is approx. 5/16” wide (at the front) and the band is approx. ¼” at the back. It is a medium weight ring weighing nearly 9.3 grams.
