Description
This is a beautiful pendant made with amethyst and red-pink tourmaline from Brazil. The top stone is violet amethyst from Rwanda which is known for top grade material. The bottom gemstone is a large piece of red-pink tourmaline. It is bright, clean and glassy with no visible flaws or imperfections and is cut into a modified triangle.
The color of this stone was hard to capture accurately on my camera possibly because the back of the pendent it open to let in light which allows the black of the objects in the background to reflect back thru the stone appearing as black areas or darkly shaded zones. The third photo in the series was taken outdoors under natural light and set against a wood background. I think this image may be the best representation of the tourmaline’s true color.
The gold work is simple yet elegant with a row of gold ball accents across the top. The bale is extra fancy with a tapered row of gold balls down the front. It is a medium-large sized pendant that is approximately 1/2” wide and just under 1 ” tall (without the attachment bale).
Chain and replica coins shown in photos not included with item. To see available chains please see “Chains” on Shop tab.
