Mali garnet is a mixture of grossularite and andradite garnet and is mined in Mali, Africa. It can range in color from pale light yellow to canary yellow or even a yellow/green. Like Tsavorite garnet, Mali garnet has a high refractive index which accounts for its bright flash and brilliance.
