This is an 18k solid gold ring with a large burnt red-orange garnet. The piece is based on Balinese designs with two rows of intricately placed gold balls around the setting. The band has a row of gold balls around the circumference framed by two rows of extremely fine twisted wire.
The garnet is from Mozambique and is completely natural. It has nice saturated burnt red-orange color and is super bright even in subdued light with very good clarity. The stone has been cut as into a faceted pear shape and has no visible inclusions.
The ring at its widest point is approx. 5/8” wide (at the front – top to bottom) and the band is approx. 1/4” wide at the back.
