Description
This is a beautiful 3-stone 18k solid gold ring. The design is an interpretation of Balinese work with detailed granulation and ornamentation.
The center stone is a beautiful all natural (unheated) blue tourmaline from Namibia. It’s color is somewhat rare in that there are only a few localities around the world that produce blue tourmaline in this color value. The most famous is the Paraiba region in Brazil but geologists point out that S. America was once attached to Africa millions of years ago and speculate that this might be why we see similar colors from two very distant areas.
The accent stones are perfectly matched blue-green tourmaline Afghanistan. They are clean and bright and pair well with the blue tourmaline.
The ring at its widest point is a little over 5/8” wide (at the front – top to bottom) and the band tapers to approx. 3/8” at the back. This is considered a wide-band ring so you might consider sizing based on rings you wear that are comparable.
