Description
This is a sterling silver cuff bracelet with solid 18k gold setting fused to the cuff. It is a contemporary style bracelet with a simple ribbed bezel setting for the stone.
The gemstone is a beautiful piece of top-grade completely natural (not stabilized or dyed) No. 8 turquoise. No. 8 refers to the name of the mine where this turquoise was found or produced. For native Americans No. 8 turquoise is well known and some of the most sought after turquoise. Why? That’s simple. It has a pleasing powder blue color and often is spiderwebbed with camel colored limonite matrix or host rock. This piece is a perfect example of all of those qualities that are highly prized in the world of turquoise. The other reason No. 8 is so prized among collectors is that the mine was sold in the late 1970s and hasn’t produced any material since. The only time it becomes available is when collectors or rock shops sell small amounts that they’ve hidden away for years.
The bracelet is approx. 15/16″ wide at the front (measured top to bottom) but tapers slightly towards the gap and is approx. 2 mm thick. It is a medium-to-heavy weight piece piece but would be easy for any woman to wear. Total weight of this item is just over 75 grams.

Size and Other Considerations: This is a 7 1/4″ cuff including a 1 1/8″ gap or opening (7 1/4″ overall). For most women this would be considered a larger size. Buyers should see Sizing for information on how to measure your wrist for cuff bracelets such as this.
