Description
This is a gorgeous wide-band 22k solid gold ring. The design is based on ancient Etruscan ring designs. The Etruscans pre-dated the Romans in what is now southern Italy. I like this design because it has a lot of intricate granulation especially on the band. This is a really substantial piece with nearly 14.0 grams of 22k gold.
The gem silica is from the Ray mine in Arizona. This piece is top-grade material with deep blue color that is so pure it looks like it is glowing. The accent stones are forest green tsavorite.
The ring at its widest point is approx. 11/16” wide (at the front measured from top to bottom) and the band is approx. 3/8” at the back. (See photo with older U.S. dime for size/scale.)
This is considered a wide-band ring so you might consider sizing based on rings you wear that are comparable.
